WEKA FACHMEDIEN GmbH distributes about 5.5 million trade journal copies to qualified B-to-B readers (sources: IVW July 2013 – June 2014, media guides 2014) as well as several special issues and the official dailies to important electronics trade fairs such as electronica, productronica, embedded world and SPS IPC Drives. The IVW-audited web services reach 36.66 million page impressions a year (source: IVW-Online Nov 2013 – Oct 2014, without karriere-ing.de, medizin-und-elektronik.de and next-community.de). In addition, WEKA FACHMEDIEN hosts around 25 national and international events in this sector. WEKA FACHMEDIEN is part of the WEKA group of companies. In 1973, Werner and Karin Mützel have founded the ˈWEKA Fachverlag für Verwaltung und Industrieˈ in Kissing near Augsburg, Germany. This was the basis of one of the major German trade journal associations, including 20 media companies in 5 European countries with about 1,400 employees and a turnover of 230 million Euro (in 2012) altogether. Founder Werner Mützel and his family is stockholder of the company. Head of WEKA group of companies is the WEKA Holding.
